Facial recognition

I cannot recognize people; if I don't you very well or don't associate you with anything. So this why I mortally offend friends and
people recently.

Someone saw me while I was cycling to college and they said hello, I thought they said 'hello' to someone else. They then said 'I saw you, I said hello.' My first thought was oops sorry, I offended you by accident what shall I say. So I said "I'm sorry, I can't see at the corner off my eye."  Which is partly true but not on this occasion it's more I couldn't recognize you and didn't know if you was talking or someone else. I think I got away with it.

I do say to people not to wave at me when they see me walking or cycling as I can't see in the corner of my eye and you are wasting your time. They some how believe that and don't wave at me no longer. If I am aware of surroundings and look around and recognize your car I sometimes to wave to people.

Someone saw me while I was Tesco's last Saturday with my grandparents, they tried to get my attention and try to talk to me. I had no idea who they were or if they were talking someone else, until I got back home after a gorgeous time with grandparents and they texted. Saying "Hi Rebekah, I see you at Tesco's this afternoon, and tried to get you attention but you ignored me. L****"

I must say this, I do recognize you if I see you enough time I get to know you and I will associate you with something. An example of this, I associate my friend Tia with colour black of course hats. Funny enough with Tia there is never a chance when you see her with not a hat.

This is the time where you might be might be thinking well what happens if I don't associate you or don't know. If you are in your normal surroundings such as college friends are in college. I will be alright, introuduce yourself with your name and I know I'm talking to. However if you're not in you normal surroundings where I normally see you, this is where I don't mean to ignore you.

I don't mean offend anyone, unless I am in a heavy mood. In that case, I will just wave and have ear phones.

To your information, I suffer from prosopagnosia. This is where you have the inability to recognize faces. So for once, it isn't my fault.

If you're new to me and don't know you very well there are steps in order not get mortally offended. 1) Wear a name badge, so I know who you're. 2) Greet me with you name, on line off 'Hello, it's me Heather. How are you on this fine morning Rebekah?' I will be available to know whom you her and can tell if you're are talking to me or not. 3) If I don't recognize you, please don't take it to heart.

So if you do suffer from prosopagnosia or just can't recognize people. Don't worry you can smile politely at me as we try to work out where we know each other from , And I'll know there's at least one other person in the world whom I won't mortally offend.

Living with deadlines

I have got so much assignments to do, I got project in today which has not been even been started, I got project re-submission in today which I will be doing in Human body and project assignment in project and dementia re-submission which I have done this week,

Throughout this week, I have made mini deadlines such as getting the pass task done in the one day, the merit the next and the distinction the next. I went into the bible for more guidance and support, well God directed me to on what bit I should I read.

This may come across a sermon, it was not intentional. I have warned you.

I read Deuteronomy 30:11-14

Life or Death

11 This command I give you today is not too hard for you. It is not beyond what you can do. 12 It is not up in heaven. You do not have to ask, “Who will go up to heaven and get it for us? Then we can obey it and keep it.” 13 It is not on the other side of the sea. You do not have to ask, “Who will go across the sea and get it? Who will tell it to us? Then we can keep it.” 14 No, the word is very near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart. So, you may obey it.

I hear you asking how does this relate to making deadlines. Well, God is saying what he is giving you today is not to difficult for you. He knows what you are capable of doing even though you don't think it is. You don't have to ask anyone for help or even to have extension for your deadlines whether that's big deadlines such as when your assignment is due in or your mini deadline because you do it.

This happens a lot of time with me however it's such a great feeling when you have finished the assignment and everyone is so stressed out because they didn't do their assignment and don't have much time. Moral of this is to do your assignment when it has been given don't leave it for last minute.

I then read Ephesians 5:15-17.
15 So be very careful how you live. Do not live like those who are not wise. Live wisely. 16 I mean that you should use every chance you have for doing good, because these are evil times. 17 So do not be foolish with your lives. But learn what the Lord wants you to do.
I am always tempted to not do my assignments especially if I can't grasp what I am meant to be doing, I always prefer to make a cup of coffee and read a good book. However this passage says be careful how you live so don't always get tempted with other things because you find it hard. Yes, you have a break here and there but use all the time you got to accomplish something whether that is gardening in my case to do assignments. With all the hard times you face when when meeting deadlines you learn what the Lord wants you to do. Whether that is have a break with coffee and read a book because you accomplished a difficult tasks or even to have a little treat to get your motivation when commencing a hard assignment such as project.

I conclude with this post with a quote about time 'either you run the day, or the day runs you,' by Jim Rohn. If you got enough time during your day, you should read 'The Gift by Cecelia Adhern.

Out and about

Saturday 13th June

A small rant here, my bike had a puncture not fun had to leg it to work with a bike.  Work was diabolical we had one customer that ordered a meal. I wiped the tables, clean the mirrors and pictures and wrapped cutlery plus emptied the ash trays and that was my work done.  I got sent home at 2:30 which is outrages what was the point of coming in?

I'm glad to say rant has finished.  The plan was to go to work and get my bike fixed. No! I had to walk all the way to Tia's house and pick her up and go to Crowthorne O.K. it wasn't  bad as we did go through the bypass.

Dropped the bikes off then we went to Coasta got a drink and of course cake.  Who can resist? Tia and I popped in a charity shop, I had no intention to buy anything until I found Enid Byldon wishing chair books. I had to get them, even though I read them thousands of times and I got no room on my book shelf plus got other books my friends got me for my birthday.

We then had a go on the excersise things in Crowthorne. Which was good fun the swing was quite scary.

Sunday 13th June

I am suppose to be working today, but since yesterday was diabolical and I got told we had six bookings. So I might not bother coming in. I know that isn't the right work ethic. I'm hoping I can find suitable work that can fit around with college.

I took the day off this time I had no intention to do assignments. YES! It had to happen at some point. I had a great day with my friend Tia and her friend at the Heritage in Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst and what a beautiful day it was too for weather whys.

In the morning we got dropped off at Crowthrone by my Mom&Dad save us from walking, got our bikes. We then waited for Tia friend at Tia's house and rode our bikes to Waitrose. I didn't realize how my old bike is so rubbish or my new bike is so good.

We arrived at the Royal Military Academy, there was so many things you can do, unfortunately we couldn't do everything. The best bits was siting by the lake and watch the world go by, eating a fantastic curry, go into the Old college and have coffee and cake. You can see a theme here.

Here are some photos of the events throughout the day.

Henna when dried
The beautiful lake.

This is when Tia and I was dressing up, well Tia was tidying her bedroom and found so many cool things. Here are the two best photos.
Scary Person!!

Who agrees? I can't even recognise people on the street unless I associate them with a colour or something. For an example I associate my Mom with red. Tia you better not where that the next time we meet up otherwise I might not recognise you however if you wear a hat I will.
Posh Rebekah.

I like these types of hats they look cool. I put it on and Tia just burst in laughter I couldn't work out why. Until Tia said "You look like you are going to the races!" Oh dear, I thought. Even more reasons why people are going to call me posh.
I conclude this amazing weekend with a quote spend with amazing friends. "A single rose can be in my garden...a single friend. MY WORLD.

An afternoon out at Horeshoe lake.

It was Saturday 06th June, I had work which was dead and very tedious. In a a few words to describe my work is that I get paid to read my book. That is very good that I can have time on my hands to be available to read my book on the other hand that is very bad. I absolutely hate my job, I cannot stand to do nothing.

Anyhow the rant has finished. I met up with my good friend Tia, and went to do Horseshoe lake just to walk around the lake and admire the lakes, flowers and of course animals.

I took spectacular photos and here they are;
A view of the lake
A little nest for the ducks
The picture upstairs looks like I'm in the water, this picture reminds me of an quote which is "there is nothing like staying at home for real comfort." This quote is by Jane Austen.

A dragon fly
Can you find the dragon fly in this picture?
A family of swans

One of my favorite quote about family is this, "family is is not an important thing, it's everything." By Micheal J. Fox.

Whomping willow

A waterfall

This triggered me to remember a quote about time. "Time is a like a river. You cannot touch the same water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again. Enjoy every moment of life.... This quote also lead to another quote about time from a book called 'The Gift' by Cecelia Adhern "Enough time leaves us warm; when our time is gone, it leaves us cold. Time is more precious than gold, more precious than diamonds, more precious than oil or any valuable treasures.” After reading this book I also figured out what is actually important in my life. But I also realized that Lou Suffern is just not an imaginary character from this book. The truth is that he is very much real as he exists in all of us. It is just not his story but it is our story too. Often we spend all our lives doing something which we thought was really important. But by the time we learn about our mistake, it’s already too late because time doesn’t wait for anyone and time which has passed can’t ever come back.

My friend and I at a good time walking around the lake, admired some beautiful scenery and it's right on our door step, Before we walked around the lake we had a drink of hot chocolate and ice cream. It's a weird combination but it was incredibly tasty.

I just want to conclude this post  with a quote about having good friends to spend time with "we don't even have to try it's always a good time."
